Special Interest Groups

The Desert Camera Club from time to time forms "special interest groups" (SIGs) to bring together the interests of members with a special interest in a particular subject. These SIGs typically meet outside of the regular Club meeting.
DIPSIG: At this time, there is only one such active group: the Digital Photography Special Interest Group (DIPSIG). DIPSIG meets at 6.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month). The meeting features talks and demonstrations of how to use image processing software and on advances in digital photography. It helps to bring a laptop and power cord, but that is not necessary. You can obtain more information from dipsig@cvdcc.org.
Members interested in forming a new special interest group should contact the Club President at prex@cvdcc.org. Groups are initially given provisional status until such time as it is determined that there is sufficient member interest to warrant permanent status.
