At regular monthly Club competitions awards will be given to each Category of images in each Division, and within both Skill Levels.

Two kinds of Awards will be made: Honorable Mention and Excellence awards.

Once scoring of the entries in a given Category by the judge is complete, the Competition Chairperson will announce awards (including the name of the entering contestant) as follows:

• Any entry in the Advanced Skill Level will receive an Excellence award if it receives a score of “9” and an Honorable Mention award if it receives a score of “8”.
  
  
• Any entry in the Intermediate Skill level will receive an Excellence award if it receives a score of  “8” or “9”, and an Honorable Mention award if it receives a score of “7”.
  

Award-winning entries will be posted in the Gallery section of the Club website. At the dsicretion of the Competition Chairperson, award ribbons may or may not be given for a particular competiton meeting.
