Abstraction is the alteration or extraction of reality so that the image is not readily identifiable as a real object. The identification or representation of reality is minor compared with elements of color, line, design, pattern, tonality etc. Imagination overrides representation!

Your image must be astract by this definition. Even though it may be a photo of a real object, the identity of the object must be hard to ascertain.
