Bert Buxbaum is Curator of Graphics and Media for The Living Desert. He is a professional photographer with many years of experience. He has published photographs in World Book Encyclopedia, various conservation and zoology magazines as well as publications for the Columbus Zoo and The Living Desert. He worked with Jack Hanna whom we have all seen on TV displaying exotic animals and advocating conservation awareness. Bert came to The Living Desert after fifteen years at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio where he did photography and videography.
