Each "competition month" there are competitions held in different Categories selected from among: Pictorial, Nature, Photo Travel, Photojournalism, and Monochrome. Click here for Category definitions.

All competition subjects are held every “competition month”; however, the Photojournalism category alternates between Photojournalism-General and Photojournalism-Human Interest on a rotating schedule.
