GENERAL

  1. This Exhibition will be conducted according to the recommended practices of the Photographic Society of America. It is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions. Membership in any photographic organization is not required.

  2. The original image must be made by the entrant. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. All images must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. Subject to divisional restrictions (e.g., Nature) images may be altered, electronically or otherwise, by the maker, and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates.

  3. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as their own and permits the sponsor to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for display and/or publication in media related to the Exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The Exhibition and its sponsors assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright.

  4. Images so similar as to be almost identical must bear the same title. Images previously accepted in any CVDCC International Exhibition, or so similar as to be almost identical, regardless of title, are ineligible in the same Division. Previously accepted titles in the same Division are ineligible.

  5. Digital entries must be sent via email, with entry fee sent to the correct address as specified in the Entry Form instructions.

  6. One entry consists of four (4) digital images from one entrant, which will be distributed through four rounds of judging. Each Section consists of a separate entry.

  7. FEES (U.S. Dollars). The fee per entry is $7 for North American entrants (Canada, Mexico, U.S.) and $11 for others.

  8. Any entry without the appropriate fee will not be judged.
