- S4C (Southern California Council of Camera Clubs) are held each month on a designated schedule (click here). The deadline for entry is the last day of the preceding month for digital and print titles (actual prints are brought on the day of the competition).
Click here for new S4C competition website including guidelines for entry. There are no time limits on images (they could have been taken in 1944!) and you do not have to attend the competition to enter.
S4C is all Digital and Print. There are no Slide competitions. Digital competitions are now held in Pictorial Color, Creative, and Monochrome; and in Nature (General, Wildlife), Photo Travel, and Photojournalism (General, Human Interest). Print competitions are held in Large Color, Small Color, and Monochrome. The PJ Human Interest competition is NEW for 2008-2009.
At least one month prior to entering competition, a Uniform Entry Number (UEN) must be obtained. Click here to download form and instructions for applying for a UEN.
S4C meetings are held at the Rosemead Community Recreation Center, 3936 Muscatel Street, Rosemead, CA 91770, just North of I-10 at the Rosemead Boulevard exit. Click here for driving directions.
