Definition:

The image must be predominantly composed of the color blue - not as a blue-tinted monochrome, but where the objects composing the photograph are inherently blue themselves. Even though 'altered reality' is a requirement for Creative, in this month's subject, the blue properties of the photograph must be inherent to the subject matter, not to the alteration of reality. Thus, a blue fruitbowl of blue oranges and applea will not qualify, but a 'blue kite against a blue sky flown by a boy dressed in blue' will - or blue wedgwood china on a blue tablecloth.

Background:

Thinking
Creatively:

Remember that the Club’s definition of Creative encourages you to create images through the use of imaginative skill or originality of thought, and requires the alteration of reality that is apparent to the viewer.  This includes modifications in the camera, darkroom, or the computer; as well as unusual points of view, imaginative use of subject matter or lighting, or any other presentation that begins with a photograph or a collection of photographs.

Use your imagination and have fun and remember, be creative! The possibilities are endless!
